DEVELOPMENT

Joining NABA can be the start of a professional makeover. Our students learn a myriad of things including the Dos and Don'ts of business attire, the importance of personal branding and how to achieve it, interview techniques, how to govern themselves in different business settings, and more.

Coupled with the things learned at general meetings, our students are also bettered by interacting with professionals and faculty & staff, serving on the executive board, and serving in the community. These opportunities all aid in honing interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and oral & written communication skills.

JOB PLACEMENT

NABA Members have placed in internships or full-time employment all over the country including: 

Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Jackson, Los Angeles, Memphis, Miami, New York, New Orleans, San Jose, San Francisco, and Washington DC. 

SCHOLARSHIPS

There are four scholarships available for members: President, Outstanding Officer, Member, and New Member. They are given each semester to students who are deeply involved in chapter events and by showing an exceptional desire to grow as a student and a professional.

trAVEL

Members are also eligible to travel with the chapter to the regional student conference in Atlanta and national conventions (2022 in Hollywood, FL, 2023 in New Orleans, LA). Additionally, firms recruit for leadership programs and diversity programs through NABA that are held all over the country. A few of our own were granted scholarships.
